Hi sorry it took so long but I thought I'd drop you a note to thank you for a great trip on the Yangtze Explorer. Our guide (Alan) provided excellent service in meeting us at Chongqing railway station at a v. late hour due to our flight delay. We also had a very enjoyable city tour around Chongqing, which has turned out to be the nicest city in China that I've visited! And thank you for the hotpot restaurant recommendation- it was fantastic!! One thing though- for some reason the Yangtze Explorer cruise company didn't notify Alan re. the embarkation point until very late in the day, and we ended up circling around the docks looking for the boat, then trekking all over these other fishing boats and cargo barges to reach the Yangtze Explorer, which was kind of weird but pretty funny, hee hee. Thank you again- I've recommended the trip to all my family and friends... it was really great!
