Day 1 Arrive Beijing
Upon Arrival, you are greeted and helped transfer to check into the Beijing Guanxi Hotel.

Day 2 Beijing
Today's sightseeing visits the imposing Tian An Men Square and the Imperial Palace in the Forbidden City. After lunch, visit the Summer Palace with a cruise on placid Lake Kunming (weather permitting).

Day 3 Beijing
Walk along the ancient ramparts of the renowned Great Wall today. Visit a cloisonné factory and observe the skilled artisans create intricate designs. Then stroll along the Sacred Way to the Ming Tombs and Chang Ling Exhibition Hall.

Day 4 Beijing to Xian
This morning is free. Perhaps take an optional tour via old-fashioned pedicab to explore Beijing's ancient narrow streets, known as Hutongs, Visit a courtyard-style family residence, and admire the city view from atop the Drum Tower Pagoda. Then fly to Xian where you check into the Grand New World Hotel

Day 5 Xian
View the famed life-sized terracotta army, no two alike, buried for over 2200 years; Circle Vision Movie; Bronze Chariot. Then on to visit the famed Shaanxi Provincial Historical Museum. This evening you're our guest at the Tang Dynasty Theatre's fabulous dinner and show.

Day 6 Xian to Dunhuang
Fly to Dunhuang this morning .Visit White Horse Pagoda and see the area’s remarkable Singing Sand Dunes, where you take a camel ride. Check in to the Silk Road Dunhuang Hotel.

Day 7 Dunhuang to Turpan
This morning visit the magnificent art treasures at the famed Mogao Grottoes, among the most ancient and consummate creations in China. The grottoes show an uninterrupted history of Chinese art over a period of more than 1,500 years. After lunch, visit the Dunhuang Museum. Later, board an overnight train bound for Turpan,

Day 8 Turpan
Before arrival at Turpan this morning, you may have breakfast (on own account) onboard the train. Visit the ruins of Gao Chang City, Astana Tombs, the legendary Flaming Mountains and Suliman Minare. This evening, enjoy a local ethnic minority dance show under the grape trees. Check in to the Turpan Oasis Hotel.

Day 9 Turpan to Urumqi
Today’s sightseeing features the Karez Well and the ruins at Jiaohe City. Later take a scenic ride to Urumqi, a city marked by ancient gates and towers. Check in to the Hoi Tak Hotel.

Day 10 Urumqi
sightsee this exotic city in the shadow of the Tian Shan range. Urumqi was on the northern route of the ancient Silk Road. Visit Xinjiang Provincial Museum and take a boat ride on the beautiful Lake of Heaven (Tianchi). Enjoy a picnic lunch by the lake before visiting a Kazakhs family yurt in the surrounding grasslands and foothills of the Heavenly Mountains.

Day 11 Urumqi to Shanghai
Fly to Shanghai, China’s cosmopolitan center of commerce. Check in to the Shanghai Hotel.

Day 12 Shanghai
Today’s tour shows the Shanghai Museum's collection of cultural artifacts, emporiums of Nanjing or Huai Hai Road, Jade Buddha Temple and the fabled Bund.

Transfer to the airport for your flight onward.
